God's Not Dead Part 2

Let's just say concert was awesome! We left right after school and rode with our friends to Longview. My sweet KK fell asleep during the concert....go figure! She woke up about 3 songs until the end. She got to hear her favorite so I guess that was worth the $35 ticket. HA The whole time Trent just wanted to hear God's Not Dead. Trent and I were holding up the pictures during the concert. The drummer looked at us twice, pointed, and smiled. It was exciting. We were on the 2nd row...The concert was over and TD wanted to give them the big picture. We went into the hall to see if hopefully they were out there. NO. So me being the persistent mother i am, went back into where the concert was...Crew was packing everything up so i kindly asked one did they travel with the newsboys. To my disliking he said he was a local crew guy :( The kids and I went back into the hall and strolled down the hall one last time and that's when i saw CD signing sign! I was so excited! Trent talked with them and told them his favorite song was God's Not Dead, When the boys light up, and Big Fat Belly (Jesus Freak). He was all grins and dimples! A wonderful night and we will definitely go again! I love these moments with my kids!

God's Not Dead

Well, my first shoot that I will share on this blog is my interpretation of the Newsboy's new album titled, God's Not Dead. This is my sons favorite band. We belt their music in the car every morning on the way to school. Also, during ball season we play "When the boys light up" before every game. Today is the day we are taking him to his first concert of theirs. We are headed out right after school. He is just a little excited (OK so is mom!). I will post a few more pics on here tomorrow, hopefully of him with the band and getting his picture signed ;) For now, enjoy the pics that you see. I am also uploading their album cover so you can see when this shoot originated from.
